Next time I'm going to check out the monument.Yogi♪♪♪https://www.blogger.com/profile/00411274031147372579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2498371790929841790.post-47039147866525818152014-06-29T20:51:15.842-05:002014-06-29T20:51:15.842-05:00Thank you so much...so many stories and beauty in ...Thank you so much...so many stories and beauty in small places...true almost everywhere I think, and we miss so much driving the interstates in a hurry.@okieprofhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16086009522200494002noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2498371790929841790.post-29363197217543802202014-06-29T19:55:48.374-05:002014-06-29T19:55:48.374-05:00I visited my son when he was stationed in Altus. ...I visited my son when he was stationed in Altus. Your post inspired me to open my picture folder and view my Oklahoma memories. Never have I seen a pumpkin shooting contest measured in tenths of miles - until I went to Hobart and saw the Pumpkin Chunkin. Never have I been in or eaten at a more unlikely looking restaurant - until I went to Meers in Lawton. Never have I enjoyed stopping on the side of the road over and over and over to walk and view both wildlife and picturesque vistas - until I visited the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. I could go on, Mount Scott, Lone Wolf - (yes they still had an old water tower when I was there), hiking trails at Quartz Mountain and more. I truly enjoyed your state. It is full of beauty and history. I am glad you are sharing it. Thank you!jnlpetersonnoreply@blogger.com
