An old one, and springtime

Old one, 9 by 12 today's watercolor
When you get old,
and the winters and cold slow you down,
and you know there are fewer spring times ahead,
you really look forward to them,
because they still hold promise, and warmth,
despite the scars and marks of all the years
There is still life...
