Lessons from Charlie Russell

Coming soon on the blog, some of what I learned about watercolor from visiting the exhibition of Russell's watercolors at the Amon Carter Museum in Fort Worth. Amazing trip, and reunion with my brother Jerry. We conquered cowtown's great food.
Here's the big poster on the wall of the museum, Couldn't take pix inside the exhibit, but bought the book and took copious notes. Already tried some of what I studied in his paintings and works. Interesting, and much work to be done. And for the record, here are Clarks in Cowtown. and the first little quick sketch painting, a redo of the earlier windmill pix.
