Where do your dreams take you this time of year?
Probably far from the "dreams of sugar-plums" in the kids' poem of long ago. But I hope there is goodness there, especially in this long dark night of a year.
Anxiety from the pandemics of disease, racism, political uncertainty and personal stress have all affected mine.
But the good ones all seem to involve traveling somewhere, even to places unknown, where the imagination and subconscious meld into fantasy and possibility.
As Christmas nears, that's a positive outcome.
