Satire, a senator, sweat and stupidity

It was an honor recently to be voted into the OKC Gridiron Club, an organization that's been around a long, long time, putting on political satire and shows once a year  to raise money for journalism scholarships for college students.
I always try to go and marvel at the satire, the writing, and how they adapt familiar songs to poke fun at politicos, etc. all of these people are journalists or former journalists, of many different political stripes. A lot can sing and dance (they didn't invite me on that basis) and write and act and have great fun.
So I've submitted three possibilities so far. I worked on this song this week, but since the song was used in last year's show, it won't be this year. Which leaves me free to post it here, poking fun at Oklahoma Sen. Inhofe for calling climate change a hoax, even though more than 90 percent of the world's scientists have evidence to back it up. He's free to his opinion, but everyone should be suspect, since he's virtually owned by energy companies who obviously are opposed to anything that might interfere with profits.
So, to the tune of "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head," here's my comment on Inhofe:

Scientists keep messin' with  my head
And just like the oilies who share my bed
Nothin' seems to fit
Climate change is messin' with my head, it  keeps messin'

So I just did me some talkin' to a mule
And I said I didn't like  looking like a fool
Bein' just a puppet.
Those scientists are messin' with my head, they keep messin'

But there's one thing I know
The oilies they pay me and won't desert me
it won't be long till they turn out the vote for me

it won't be long till they turn out the vote for me

Scientists keep messin' with  my head
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turnin' red
Weather change isn't for me
I'm never gonna stop the scientists by arguin'
because the oilies wont desert me
Somthin's sweatin'  me

Scientists keep messin' with  my head
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turnin' red
Weather change isn't for me
I'm never gonna stop the scientists by arguing'
because the oilies won't desert me
Somthin's sweatin'  me
