We are Texans

We are Texans

Plein air watercolor, painted while I was sitting on the concrete cross-legged a few years ago, in front of The Alamo in San Antonio de Bexar. Little kids came up and said, "Oh, an artist." I didn't know I was. Made me proud. I do know we are Texans. If you don't get it, then you're not Texan.

The red is the color of blood.

  1. Trying to catch up on reading after a few days gone. Smile. Texans. Newspapers. Names. Fire in the belly (passion). I don't know when or what I'll write next, but what you write helps me know I will write and live and share. By the way -- as a Texan, are you a Dallas Cowboys fan, or did the Arkansas infiltration take that away?

  2. I'm no fan of Dallas...the "God'
s team" label did away with that...I was a Houston Oilers, bum Phillips and Earl Campbell fan.
