Uptight chronicles...Not there yet...watercolor studies

Which version seems more vibrant, alive?
Second attempt this morning in a study for a larger painting, leaves me still wondering.
This is after I tried the first version on 10 x 30  yesterday, concluding it was just too uptight, lacing something. All I accomplished was the main building, the focal point, but still....
Back to work, to make it jump off the page, I hope...probably a combination of the two, but not in any way a duplicate.
