Happy Failure

"Not so shiny," watercolor, 3 1/2 by 6 watercolor, 140 lb. Fabriano cold press paper
"Shiny." That was the paint "happy thing" challenge today from Doodlewash #worldwatercolorgroup challenge for today.
When I think of shiny, I think of bright Christmas tree ornaments reflecting lights and each other and everything else.
So I tried, and failed at the shiny part. But at least I was happy, if dissatisfied, while trying it, because I was attempting, and learning. I will try it again. And it is a daily watercolor.
