Plaza colors where you find them

Browns and dulls dominate
In the dead of winters
Or in the dryness of droughts
Or in the doldrums of Augusts
You have to look for colors
Yes, some are faded
By the cold and heat and cold
And like us, by the years.
But they're still there
It takes fresh eyes
To see what once was
Colors are where you find them
In your imagination.
