"The colors of cold"

I've only seen the Northern Lights, the Aurora Borealis perhaps twice in my life, but what I remember is how cold it was outside, and how eerie they were.

Some artists are really good at capturing their essence, and I'm not one of them, but I know about the colors of cold.

Today's watercolor, and of course, a barn, upper Midwest on a cold, snowy, clear night.
