Literally now?

A long interesting debate with Erudite Redneck and others on is The Bible literal?

they all say no.

I say, then why believe any of it?

Is there a middle ground?

They say yes.

I say, as a journalist, how, and prove it--what is literal, and what is not? Prove it.

Maybe God is not literal. The Devil? Jesus? Abraham? Grace?

Are we deluding ourselves?

  1. We all delude ourselves. Satan is the bogeyman hiding under the rock or shooting his friend while going quail hunting. Grace is the third name of your granddaughter.
